Neil advises private clients on matters including wills, inheritance tax and estate planning, Enduring Powers of Attorney, applications to the Office of Care and Protection in the High Court for both Enduring Power of Attorney registration and controllership (to include defending contested matters), administration of estates and trusts (including testamentary and lifetime trusts) and offers specialist opinion to other professional colleagues and professional clients. He delivers lectures and training in this area.

Neil has acted as a professional controller appointed by the High Court of Justice in Northern Ireland. He also advises various charities in regard to trusts/administration of estate matters and makes applications to the NI Charity Commission.   In addition, Neil has extensive experience in property transactions which complements his area of specialism.
