Adrienne is Elliott Duffy Garrett’s Managing Partner and its Head of the Employment Law. She was admitted as a solicitor in Northern Ireland in 1986.

Adrienne specialises in all aspects of contentious and non-contentious employment law.   She acts for a varied range of employer clients in the private and public sectors, the voluntary/third sector including charities, social enterprises and housing associations, in the education sector and for professional bodies.

She is a trainer on the University of Ulster Postgraduate Certificate in Northern Ireland Employment Law and regularly provides employment law training for employer clients and external groups.

Adrienne also acts for professional bodies in relation to regulatory matters, both contentious (management and conduct of disciplinary procedures) and non-contentious (drafting rules and procedures).

She also acts for education sector clients in relation to employment and pupil issues.

Adrienne is consistently ranked as a leading lawyer in Chambers UK and Legal 500.  Most recently:
